Premier Proofreading & Editing
The first step in a proofreading and/or editing project is to meet with me for your free consultation appointment. This appointment will help me get to know a little bit about you and your project. Within 48 hours following this appointment, I will provide you with an invoice for my editing services. Depending on the scope of your project, editing services may be priced as a lump-sum or using my hourly rate.
Note: If you're looking for an editor for you or your student's college essay(s), this will be priced as a lump sum project, which includes a list of essay strengths/weaknesses, full essay content editing, and a Zoom meeting with you or your student to go over the edits!

Final Check-In, Questions, and Edits
Once we have decided to work together and I have received back your signed contract, remitting payment of one-half (1/2) of your project cost (unless you are billed hourly), and your written work, I will get to work closely reading and editing your piece. I'll add comments, questions, and direct language edits to your entire project. I'll also provide you with a detailed list of my thoughts on the project as a whole, including additional questions, language and content suggestions, and things to think about.
After you've had some time to review the edits and questions, we will have a follow-up call, Zoom appointment, or in-person meeting to discuss your work and my notes. This will give you the opportunity to ask me any additional questions that you may have and will allow us to work through some revisions together.
After you've had time to work on your piece and make edits, send it my way with any additional questions. We'll schedule a final check-in appointment to go over everything and to smooth out any additional edits to your project.
